What is Super Objective?
Super Objective is the overall objective of a character. It is your through-line. Sometimes, you do not find it until after the play is closed, and suddenly in the middle of the night you might awaken and say, “Now I see — I wanted control, vindication, revenge” (or any other number of possibilities). Of course, you will have hopefully found the Super Objective by knowing the objective in individual scenes — but not always.
