SUNOUT is technically known as “DOT MATRIX UV-X”. It was originally developed for the automotive trade to be used as an alternative to the glue-on types of automotive window film. It is actually a combination of materials in a single continuous film sheet which is statically charged on one side but not on the other. After the performance layers are finished the material is perforated to exacting specifications to provide the greatest sun control for heat, ultra-violet light, arid glare, and, at the same time, to provide the greatest visibility.
