WHAT IS STUFFED PIZZA?
Not to be confused with “Sicilian” style, “Stuffed Crust” or other “deep dish” pizzas, our stuffed pizza is something else altogether. Starting with a thin layer of fresh dough in a deep pan, we fill it with cheese and any combination of fresh ingredients. Another thin layer of dough is then added to cover the filling. The pizza is then topped with our mildly spicy tomato sauce and is cooked in our oven. While the pie bakes, the top layer of dough will melt into the cheese and seal in flavor. Because our stuffed pizza is literally “stuffed” with an abundance of ingredients and slow cooked to enhance flavor, it takes 30-40 minutes to prepare.
