What is student life like at WMU?
As a student, you’ll spend nearly 70 percent of your time outside the classroom. When you’re not studying, you’ll find a wide range of activities designed to broaden your college experience. Each academic year begins with the Bronco Bash–an opportunity to get acquainted with university services, clubs and organizations, and meet your fellow students. You’ll find booths featuring area merchants and over 300 student organizations. There is live music, food vendors and novelty attractions. The University is affiliated with numerous academic and professional organizations. As a member of many of these organizations, you can develop leadership skills, connect with faculty advisors and develop competence in a field of study. WMU is home to more than 30 fraternities and sororities. These organizations pride themselves on community service and leadership development.
