The reaction an individual has to a pain medication is very individualized. For some people Darvocet may work more effectively, for some hydroconde yeilds better results. From what I’ve been told, read, and observed hydrocodone is a more potent analgesic than Darvocet. One study (sorry, i dont remeber who wrote it or published it) found that Darvocet tended to be no more effective than two extra strength Tylenol.
