What is Street dancing?
Street dance is the style of dance that most people associate with music videos – but street dancing actually evolved outside of dance studios in everyday spaces such as streets, school yards and nightclubs. Before George Sampson and Diversity brought street dancing to our screens, artists such as Rihanna, Beyonce, Usher were all use street dancing to enhance their music performances as it is a funky, urban and uber cool style of dance that works well with hip hop, urban and r’n’b music.
