What is streaming media? How is it different from a webcast?
Streaming media is video and/or audio delivered to your computer via the internet. Streaming media presents video and/or audio that has been previously recorded. It is available in a variety of formats, including Real Media, Windows Media, Quicktime, and Flash. A webcast is the transmission of a live event over the internet to your computer.
