STR provides options for registration renewal for six months for most light vehicles and three months for trailers via myRTA.com or through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) telephone system 1300 360 782. From 6 August 2010, STR renewal is also available at any RTA motor registry. STR is not available when: • establishing registration • transferring and renewing at the same time.
