What is stopping Black millionaires from pooling their money more effectively to benefit Black grassroots organizations?
Each one of us has a responsibility to make a contribution to improve the lot of our people. It’s not fair to ask Black millionaires anymore than it is fair to demand white millionaires take what they have earned and distribute it to Black people. I think that that is an individual choice that people have to make. Idon’t knowthat we are justified in making those demands of people who have earned their keep. I think reparations are a different issue. I think we have to define what ‘Reparations’ is.
