Stenciled concrete is when a paper stencil is pressed into the surface of the concrete and a color hardener is applied to the surface. If you desire a textured look, a liquid or powder release is used along with a textured roller to leave a texture behind. A flat finish is also possible. Once the concrete has hardened some, the paper stencil is removed leaving behind distinct grout lines.
