Folliculitis is a infection of the skin produce by the staph bacteria. It looks like blisters that are filled with pus. they appear in the armpit, at the beard, in the neck or other places. They are rather itchy. Follicullitis can lead to more complications and can sprea to deeper structures. This is known as a furuncle (boil). Folliculitis looks like red bumps that are filled or not with pus fluid and at the top have a red bump. Furuncles are a collection of several hair follicles that are red, they get infected and inflamed. Carbuncles is a collection of many infected hair follicles that are regularly in a part together and they for a large skin abscess that is commonly known to as BOIL. The problem is that these boil are often mistaken to spider or other insects bites and they get to spread and provoke complications because they are not treated in an early stage.
