What is Stand In The Gap?
Stand In The Gap is a ministry of Opening Doors of Ohio, Inc. and is a unique group mentoring model for Christian ex-offenders. An ex-offender is prescreened and if qualified becomes a “neighbor” in a spiritual family. The spiritual family members come from the church. The family is assigned a licensed professional. They sign a written covenant to meet together at least twice a month for at least one year. The essence of this mentoring model is Christian fellowship and prayer.
