Revenu Qubec uses the 128-bit SSL encryption protocol to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the data transmitted between your computer and Revenu Qubec’s server. Encryption is the process of converting information into a more secure format for transmission. The plain text is converted to scrambled code while being transmitted (128-bit encryption), and then decrypted back to plain text at the receiving end of the transmission.
