What is special student status and are international students eligible to obtain this status?
Applicants who do not need to obtain a student visa to study are eligible for special student status. This includes students who only plan on taking online classes from their home country and students who are currently on another type of visa which allows for full or part-time study. Upon submission of their undergraduate transcripts, these applicants are allowed to take two courses toward their program of study before completing their application. Students will be blocked after taking two courses and are required to complete their application if they wish to continue taking classes.
