What is special about the Garry J. Armstrong Home?
The Garry J. Armstrong Home has a number of special features designed to accommodate the needs of its residents, and to ensure that they enjoy their home. Each new private or semi-private room has its own en-suite washroom and windows with a wonderful view of the river and grounds. Recreational areas on each floor provide many different social opportunities, and the facility’s library, hairdresser and onsite dentist allow residents to satisfy most of their needs right in the building. A spa on each floor allows residents to pamper themselves and provides special whirlpool treatment where needed. There are several fireplaces to curl up by, including one in each dining room and a large stone one in the lower atrium. Large circular balconies are on all six resident floors for easy access to the outdoors, and a country kitchen enables residents and their families to cook and serve special meals.
