What is Spatter Shield™?
A breakthrough in welding technology: Spatter Shield is an in-line system which, by atomising a unique fluid into the shielding gas flow, reduces the effect of spatter adhesion. Less time is wasted on cleaning and finishing the weld application. By using Spatter Shield within optimum parameters, it can extend the life of the torch nozzle by up to 5 times and the contact tip by up to 6 times. The Spatter Shield unit consists of 2 components: a probe and a fluid is compatible with CO2, Argon, Argon-based mixtures, Helium and Hydrogen. It is suitable for carbon steel, galvanized steel, electroplated steel, stainless steel, cast iron, silicon bronze welding and hard facing.
