WHAT IS SONLIGHT CURRICULUM?
Sonlight Curriculum is a literature-rich home education program, with an historical focus and a world-wide Christian missionary emphasis. The founders, John and Sarita Holzmann, are passionate believers in the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education, , based on living books, rather than textbooks. They coordinate the schedules of the history books, readers for the children, and read-alouds, so that you can focus on teaching. They also provide study guides for all the books. Reading and Language Arts are integrated with the core programs, so that students above 3rd grade read and write about historical fiction set in the era they are studying. Sonlight Curriculum offers complete math and science choices as well as electives and parent resources.
