Road resurfacing. However, this road was built during a summer drought and on original soil. Compaction of the clay soil was monitored and tested by L.E. Gregg Associates and all compaction tests were rated well above normal. The use of this road or lack of its use is another factor that will prolong the life of the road. Please note that the life of the road won’t start until the final coat of asphalt has been applied and that won’t happen until 8 of the 10 homes are complete. The private part of the road is the part within the gate, and that will be what the HOA will need to resurface in the future. A special assessment would be the best way to handle this.
