What is solution of poverty,misery, disease, famine in Africa?
A few years ago, a plan was floated by someone who had worked at the United Nations. It would cut in half the number of people living in absolute poverty in ten short years. (Absolute poverty is having NO money; waking up not knowing whether you’ll eat this day.) Begin by working with the governments that aren’t corrupt. Every village gets a truck, and solid road linking it with other places, and the people get high-yield seed and fertalizer. The farmers agree to give a portion of their excess food to the local school. The school can feed the poorest students, so they can be in school, and can concentrate on their studies (rather than have to spend their day looking for something to eat). Because of the road and the truck, the farmers can take their surplus food to market, and get paid. Also because of the road and truck, they can bring things to the village that they need. During emergencies, aide can get to them. Once this has started working, other people will see how well it works,
