This solution is added to other IV solutions as a sodium chloride supplement for people with very low sodium and/or chloride levels in their blood. This product is a concentrated form of sodium chloride and must not be given by direct IV injection. How To Use Sodium Chloride Rapid Add Follow all instructions for proper mixing and dilution with the correct IV fluids.
