What is SOA Enablement?
Service oriented architecture enablement, or as Zapthink discusses, the SOA Implementation Framework, is an emerging technology concept that goes beyond Web Services Management to unlock the value of Web services. The promise of Web services is to enable the agile enterprise through service reuse within a service oriented architecture. Without an SOA enablement solution, much of this promise falls by the wayside as developers are unable to comply with changing security and management policy and cannot keep track of changing service interfaces and locations.
