What is so wrong about the bill co-authored by Senators Sam Brownback (R-KS) and Mary Landrieu (D-LA)?
The Brownback-Landrieu bill would criminalize therapeutic cloning and tie the hands of scientists who are working on cures and treatments. It would prevent scientists from helping the 100 million Americans who suffer from so many terrible diseases. Furthermore, it would put doctors and patients in jail if they went overseas to conduct research or to receive this type of treatment.
