What is so special about this Döring/Rötzer day?
In the course of your temperature observations, you will come upon one very important day: that of the first temperature rise. This is the Döring/Rötzer value, the beginning of your temperature shift. The Döring/Rötzer value is close to ovulation and tends to occur one day after the Peak Day. This Döring/Rötzer value, named after two medical researchers, refers to the first rise in temperature. You then take the first temperature rise of all previously observed cycles and subtract 7 days for safety reasons: the sympto application does this calculation automatically.
