What is so special about the Farberware FSC600 Crock Pot?

I will admit this crock pot came to me as a surprise but since then it has delighted me in several ways. The first thing that comes to mind is its smooth attractive finish. Mine is bright white and looks very nice. It has black trim pieces and a black stoneware liner. The crock pot is rather large at 6 quarts but is an oval shape. This allows it to slide under the cabinet with ease and hang out with the other small appliances without bullying them out of too much room. I have seen other units that are taller and narrower but they limit the cuts of meat you can place in them and are too tall to fit comfortably under the cabinet. The Farberware FSC600 measures about 11x14x15 making it shorter and fatter then most I have seen. That is nice because it holds roast and chickens like they are in their own private hot tub. It is harder to put large chickens into the taller units. The Farberware crock pot lets them dive right in! That leaves plenty of room for veggies too. Another nice feature
