What is Smile Analysis?
Smile Analysis is a comprehensive evaluation of your smile’s health, function and aesthetics. Dr. White will evaluate your teeth, gums, occlusion as well as your facial bone structure and lip line symmetry. The results will not only direct basic preventive treatment but can give you a look at what cosmetic solutions you may be interested in.
In a smile analysis, we look at all the factors that compose a smile; the shape of a smile, the size, the smile line, and the position of your teeth, lips, and gums when you smile. We listen to what you want to accomplish and any concerns you may have. Once we have this information, Dr. Caffaratti or Dr. Escobar can provide a custom smile design for you.

A smile analysis determines the proper aesthetic appearance of your smile with relationship to your facial symmetry, lip line, and phonetics (speech patterns). Each person has unique criteria for a “perfect” smile, one that is proportional and flattering to the face, and functions properly. Smile Analysis is an interactive process between you, members of our team, and Dr. Barton. The process combines your wants and desires, diagnostic and imaging technology, and Dr. Barton’s artistic eye to assess the most ideal solution for your unique smile.
