What is Smile Analysis?
In a smile analysis, Dr. Yoshimura looks at all the factors that compose a smile: the shape of a smile, the size, the smile line; and the position of your teeth, lips, and gums when you smile. He listens carefully to your concerns and what you want to accomplish. Once we have this information, we can provide a custom smile design.
The key to success in aesthetic dentistry is a clear understanding of your desired outcome. When you decide to correct or enhance your smile, Dr. Nix will discuss your goals and customize a plan to meet your needs. The Smile Analysis is a planning step we use to help design a smile thats exactly what you want. It is also a time to discuss options and what to expect during treatment.
Smile analysis is a consultation in which we evaluate your smile and needs. We will consider your face, the color of your hair and skin, your bone structure, lip line, how many teeth you show, and your gums, as well as where your midline and balance are. Does your smile sing? If not, what do we need to do to make it sing? We will perform diagnostics, make models, and take photographs and X-rays. After examining this data, we will work with you to develop a custom treatment plan to deliver the smile you want.
