What is SMART911 service?
SMART911 service is a subscription-based service that helps you communicate more effectively during emergencies. SMART911 improves the flow of information about you and members of your household — including children, the elderly and pets — to emergency response teams (police, fire, and paramedics) when you need it most — during a 911 call from your home phone or from any phone you’ve registered with SMART911. If you make a 911 call from your SMART911-registered phone number, your stored critical care and emergency information is automatically made available on the computer screen of 911 operators.
