What is small cap, mid cap & future?
Small Cap Companies means Companies that have small market capitalisation and Mid Cap means companies with medium market capitalisation. Market capitalisation means total number of shares issued multiplied by current market price of the share. Future is the financial instruments whose price movements are derived from the price movement of an underlying security or asset. Futures were originally introduced as an insurance mechanism for farmers and manufacturers who wanted to fix a price for crops at a future date.
