What is Slow Food Movement?

0

You may have heard of slow food movement yet been curios as to what it actually means. It is basically a movement that started in Italy and has now become an international movement to attempt to rid the world of the fast food habits that have taken over so many of us. It is a movement to encourage people to enjoy cooking again and go back to eating traditional meals that have been cooked from scratch. This is the only way to reap the many benefits of taste, of the goodness and knowing you are doing something that has the benefit of having a lot of time and love go into it. It was Carlo Petrini who originally founded this movement, but since then it has gone from strength to strength with people all around the world competing to make the best slow food dishes ever. One of the alternative movements is to eat raw foods. This of course will be vegetables and fruits that have great nutritional value. What they hope to achieve with this is to get people comfortable again with eating the food
