What is skinning? What happens if I don use the entire pail right away and a skin forms?

Skinning is when the topmost layer of coating begins to cure in the pail. Silicone is moisture-cured, so high heat and humidity will cause the product to skin. If you see a skin on the top of your pail, just peel or cut the skin off, and discard it. The product underneath should be fine to use. To reduce skinning, keep your container tightly closed between coats.
