What is Skin Care Professional level membership?
Skin Care Professional Members receive liability insurance coverage at $2 million per incident: The occurrence form liability policy that ASCP provides to qualified members covers the member’s skin care operations for professional liability (client alleges malpractice), general liability (client alleges negligence in a slip and fall situation), products liability (client alleges reaction to skin care product), and, if you rent the business premises, up to $100,000 in fire damage. Membership also comes with ASCPs publications–including a subscription to Skin Deep magazine and ASCPs Successful Business Handbook–as well as access to online marketing and business tools, located in the Members section of www.ascpskincare.com. A certificate of insurance, ethics certificate, insurance guide, and membership identification are included as well.
