What is SiteKey and how does it work?
SiteKey is a new, award-winning, free, online security feature standard to Online Banking. SiteKey helps prevent unauthorized access to your accounts while assuring you that you’re visiting a valid Bank of America website. SiteKey consists of 3 parts: an image, an image title, and 3 challenge questions. All 3 parts help protect your Online Banking accounts from your own computer or any public computer. There are 2 ways that SiteKey helps protect you against identity theft and fraud. First, it helps recognize that you’re at the valid Online Banking site, rather than a look-alike site. Secondly, you can ensure that we recognize you as the true owner of your account because SiteKey helps us verify your identity with your chosen image and image description.
