What is similar to Borderline Personality Disorder? Please Help?
I think in alot of mental illnesses there can be comparisons made. I too have questioned what I have – be it BPD, Manic depression, Bipolar, even schizophrenia. All have similar symptoms which is why it is so hard to diagnose. If you have been disagnosed though and are at ease with your psychiatrist, I think you should talk through your fears with him/her about it. They will be able to advise you alot more about things than anyone can here. Even though with BPD that normally things get better in your early teens, that doesn’t necessarily mean they always do so take your psychiatrists adivce but also talk to them.
