Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area is a 37-county region in northeast Iowa that partners with sites and attractions to tell and interpret the story of American agriculture. Currently, there are over 90 sites ranging from dairy farms and museums to vineyards and tractor assembly plants. Silos & Smokestacks is one of 37 National Heritage Areas designated by the United States Congress and is affiliated with the National Park Service.
