This mainland marina project has been talked about and advocated for over 30 years. The major issues have always been economic development, traffic safety and boater safety. Public safety concerns from traffic congestion on H-95 and the roads to Windsor State Park and public safety concerns from congestion of boaters north of the Island and around the Windsor State Park Marina, are increasingly critical issues due to the growing number of accidents, property damage, injuries, and deaths on land and on the water.
