What is Sigma Tau Delta?
Sigma Tau Delta is an honor society that was established in 1924 for the central purpose of conferring distinction upon students of the English language in writing and literature in undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies. The society also furthers interest in English Literature by hosting public events celebrating various aspects of writing and reading, which include but are not limited to book fairs, library days, regional and national conventions, and assistance in reading programs.
