What is sidewalk chalk made of?
Wild Crocodiles Color Changing Sidewalk Chalk is made from Calcium Carbonate, Calcium Sulfate, and Silica. These 3 compounds are derived from limestone that are mined from rock quarries known as Gypsum Mines and are very safe. The chalk is made into a batter and poured into molds where it sets up and solidifies and then is pressed out of the molds and packaged.
