Shareware, or trialware, are terms that describe software that can be downloaded and used for a trial or evaluation period at no cost before a purchase decision needs to be made. This is the standard way that software can be tried out before purchasing and is used by most software companies. All Weta Software products are shareware. What this means is that you can download and use our software for a set period (our products have a 30 day evaluation period) for free, with no obligation to buy the software. Our products have full functionality during the evaluation period, and if you like the product and decide to buy it, this can be done during or after the evaluation period has expired.
