What is ShareALot.org?
ShareALot.org is a charity created in June of 2009, initially operating in Carrboro/Chapel Hill, with the goal of enabling us all to help each other through this recession. Like Craig’s List, members are able to post services offered and services wanted. Unlike Craig’s List, only services can be listed, and instead of charging dollars, only free services, and services in trade for “stars” are allowed. You can think of ShareALot.org as a barter site for services rather than items, but the entire point is helping each other, rather than making money or getting cool stuff. Your are rewarded for good deeds done through ShareALot.org with “stars”, which you can trade for services you need.
