What is Shamanism and hedgewitchery?
There is a LOT of overlap, considering that you’re looking at different cultures around the world. Shamanism is basically a magic user who helps the community, not an individual working on their own for their own purpose. The Shaman is a central figure in their area who does basically what a priest and a healer do. It’s up to the individual to work the spiritual side to help his people. One aspect that’s consistent in all forms of shamanism is that they use guides, and go on a journey mentally.
