Shabbat is a special time in camp that is set apart from the rest of the week by a different tone and schedule. There are services Friday night and Saturday morning as well as havdalah Saturday night. Staff members are expected to observe Shabbat in accordance with the standard of the camp community so that everyone, regardless of religious observance, feels comfortable.In camp, what we wear on Shabbat also reflects the holiness of the day.
