What is Serzone antidepressant drug liver damage?
Serzone antidepressant drug has been associated to serious cases of liver failure resulting in transplant and/or death. The time to liver injury for the reported liver failure cases resulting in death or transplant generally ranged from two weeks to six months on Serzone therapy. Reports of Serzone liver damage in patients using the antidepressant drug has caused the FDA to order two label changes to strengthen the warning for the adverse effects that have resulted from the drug’s use.
