In 2008–2010, GPs are able to accrue a maximum of 20 CPD points towards their total requirement for the triennium for participating in educational activities not formally accredited by the QA&CPD Program. Participation in unaccredited activities is optional. General practitioners who choose to participate in unaccredited activities need to self record their participation and notify the QA&CPD Program when they have accrued the maximum allowable number of points.
