Selective service is the military draft. All male applicants for financial aid must have registered with the selective service between the ages of 18 and 26. Some exceptions can be made if a student did not knowingly and willfully fail to register.

By law, Selective Service registration is required for men between the ages of 18 and 25 for the Armed Forces. You may be ineligible for student aid if you do not register. Registration forms are available in the Financial Aid Office or you can register online and/or check your registration status at www.sss.gov.
