Securities arbitration resolves disputes you have with your broker or investment advisor without using the courts. The process is similar to a trial in court, except that there is an arbitration panel that decides the case, not a jury. Virtually all securities arbitration disputes are filed with Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), a self regulatory organization (SRO).
