Second Life (SL) is a bit like a combination of The Sims and a vast chat room. You create an avatar that looks a bit like a Sim and then explore the vast world of SL. What you do in SL is up to you. There are a lot of myths about SL, such as it’s only about cybersex, or that people make millions from working in SL. Yes – there is a form of cybersex in SL and yes, some people do make a living wage from SL. The truth is both myths are very overrated.
