What is search, placement, and recruit mean?
These terms are used in the recruiting industry to identify a particular recruiting activity. Search refers to the steps a recruiter takes to locate a qualified candidate. Placement refers to when a candidate actually is hired by the employer and actually begins working in the position. Recruit means a candidate has been identified and prequalified for a specific position; they are now presented the opportunity with the intention of confirming the candidate’s interest.
