What is SeaMobile’s solution for turning off coverage within zones close to land?
SeaMobile has developed and perfected an unmatched, state-of-the-art Radio Interference Management System (RIMS), which controls the system by turning it off automatically within 12 nautical miles of land. Once outside the 12 miles, the system is turned on. RIMS is capable of determining the vessel’s position relative to land, as well as sensing the RF environment from terrestrial wireless networks.
