What is screen burn in?
Many video display’s such as TV’s and Plasma screens can be affected by constantly viewing the same image. This can leave a shadow of that image burnt permanently into the display. You can reduce the likelyhood of screen burn in by: • Shunt the logo off screen with ShowShifter’s ‘zoom’ control, or you can use your TV’s zoom control. • Avoid using display modes which leave parts of the screen blank. • Reduce both brightness and contrast levels. • Reduce ambient lighting to make the picture stand out better. • Reduce the amount of time you spend watching the offending channels.
