There are no eyeglasses lenses that are scratch-proof. However, there is a way to battle the scratches. The solution is a coating for lenses (front and back, clear, scratch-resistant) which gives them a much harder surface to help resist scratches. This can prevent scratches from dropping your glasses on the floor or by cleaning them with a rough towel. This coating is especially beneficial in children’s eyewear.
